During Holy Week a church in Los Angeles received the most unholy treatment. St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church was covered with sacrilegious, blasphemous, and vulgar comments. Spray painted all over the property were messages that said “Satan lives,” and “Revelation 666,” and vulgar references to the relationship between Jesus and Mary. The investigators from L.A. county are treating it as a hate crime. But churches in California that supported the recent marriage amendment were targets for vandalism and even terroristic acts, yet there have been no arrests. We can expect the attacks to continue unless God intervenes to change the collective heart of our increasingly Godless and pagan culture. But in the meantime we will continue to be salt and light and defend the Gospel and our Christian family. TAKE ACTION: Please join us and help keep the pressure on LA law enforcement to protect the lives and property of Christians. Contact the LA County Sheriff’s office and say “Please make sure that the perpetrators are arrested from the recent attack on St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church. And ensure that Christians are getting equal protection under the law.” Call: (323) 267-4800 Or contact online, click here. Below is an example of how to fill out the response form.
