Duke Amachree, a husband and father of three, was fired from his job in England as a homelessness prevention worker, a job he had for eighteen years. Why? Because he made a compassionate comment to a client who was suffering with a terminal illness. Duke innocently asked a dying woman if she considered praying to God for healing. The woman complained and the local township fired him. Duke’s discharge undermines Christian religious liberty and free speech. So Duke recently appealed and many fellow Christian rallied to his support. But the council decided that they would uphold his dismissal, just in time for Christmas. Now Duke will have to take his case to an Employment Tribunal. Fortunately, he has the support of a Christian legal ministry. TAKE ACTION:
