Threats Should Not Silence Biblical Morality Print E-mail

Traditional marriage continues to win favor in state elections. The last victory was earlier this month in the state of Maine. But this has caused homosexual activists to become very vicious.Traditional marriage advocates harassed.

In the fallout after Maine's voters recently rejected homosexual marriage, Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality has documented the increasing violent threats against Christians. Below is an exchange on a homosexual activist website reported by World Net Daily.

"All it will take is a small group of radical zealots who are willing to kill for their cause," "Fritz" wrote. "This happens in all cases where people are oppressed and lack representation. Our president must wake up and prevent this from happening. Otherwise, we will end up like Israel and Palestine. We will have gay and lesbian people strapping bombs to their chests and blowing up churches." "Tex" responded, "You say this like it's a bad thing? Maybe a bit of well organized terrorism is just what we need, er, I mean 'civil disobedience.'"

Also, Michael Heath, another director of the Christian Civic League of Maine, a traditional family organization in Maine, received a phone call directly threatening his life right after the amendment passed to define marriage in the state as between one man and one woman. The Christian Civic League of Maine reported that the caller said:

“I am calling about Mr. Mike Heath, the Executive of your Christian Civic League of Maine. He thinks that gay people should have our rights revoked that we already have. Well I can tell him this — I'm a gay guy who owns guns, and he's my next target.”

There were dozens of attacks against traditional marriage supporters in wake of the California Prop 8’s victory last year. Now pro-family leaders in Maine are receiving death threats.

Even as we prepare for our rally for religious free speech we have received threats, too. A threatening email was received by CADC saying, "I'll be in Washington on the 16th and I know what you look like."

The rally is in front of the Justice Department on Monday in Washington DC. We are gathering to express our opposition to the unconstitutional Hate Crime Bill signed by President Obama.

Why is it that a Hate Crime also has to meet the criteria of being
"Politically Correct? Even the Village Idiot remembers the old saying:
"What's good for the Goose is good for the Gander!!"
Simple: Either
the principles of the "Commission of a Hate Crime" fits all respective
situations OR it should be considered "partial" an thus,
"unlawful". Again, this is not a one way street. A violation is a
violation is still a violatio...

avatar Under the Constitution all laws must provide "equal protection". The
courts are required to give the same protections to Christians that it gives to
other groups.

So the Homosexuals best beware. Their hate speech might just
burn them the way they intend to burn us.
